Man Shares His Experience with Hemophilia, HIV and Hepatitis

Hemophiliac explains life with chronic pain.
Chronic pain can be brutal for anyone. For Joseph Burke, it is something he has had to deal with his whole life. As someone living with hemophilia, HIV and Hepatitis C, those issues are almost secondary to dealing with the pain. 
Recently on his I Strive 2 Thrive website, he posted his personal experiences and shared stories about what pain looks and feels like. (The pictures to the right show Joseph’s body over a 30 year period).
“Not only over time do the joints lose mobility,” Burke tells NationalPainReport.com, “but managing the pain of something as simple as standing in a shower can be extremely difficult.”
