New Orleans – 610 Stompers honor life of rare blood disorder patient

January 7, 2014; Posted by: WeBleed staff

Famous New Orleans dance group joins  with young friends of John David Nides to honor his memory.

Cool story out of New Orleans today.

The 610 Stompers is a diverse group of ordinary men anywhere from 20 to 60 in age brought together by their ongoing desire to entertain the world with their “Extraordinary Moves”, and in doing so, giving back to the community according to their website. They did just that recently.

A few friends of John David Nides decided to get together and perform their own type of junior 610 Stomper memorial for their friend who had recently passed away. John David had been diagnosed with a rare bleeding disorder at a young age and the original 610 Stompers added him on as a junior member before he passed.

Needless to say, it was a neat and interesting way to honor their fallen friend.
