January 28, 2014; Posted by: WeBleed staff

New event submitted for hemophilia fundraiser April 19-May 16.

WeBleed staff recently had a fundraising event submitted from a hemophilia advocate raising money/donations for SaveOneLife.

“Wheels for the World III” is a 27 day bicycle ride across the U.S. – a fundraising effort for “Save One Life”, an organization dedicated to assisting individuals with hemophilia in developing nations that lack access to factor.

Barry Haarde – “It is my third bike ride across America for SOL and this year’s sponsors include Baxter and Bayer. My name is Barry Haarde.  I live in Houston and I am a 48 year old with severe hemophilia A, 30+ year HIV survivor, liver cirrhosis from hepatitis C, and have a 14 year old total knee replacement and peripheral neuropathy.”
