New Jersey – Community College Raising Money for Hemophilia

Local community college in New Jersey will host bleeding disorders awareness walk.
Raritan Valley Community College recently sent out a press release announcing their third annual Hemophilia Bleeding Disorders Awareness Walk on Sunday, April 27th. The annual walk benefits the Hemophilia Association of New Jersey (HANJ) as well as helps to raise awareness for hemophilia, von Willebrand disease and numerous other bleeding disorders.
The walk comes days after the world celebrated “World Hemophilia Day” on April 17th. The walk will feature a “one mile family fun walk, free t – shirts, live music, blood pressure screening, information tables about bleeding disorders, barbecue and other refreshments, and special programs for youngsters including face painting, inflatables, games and more.”
Registration fees for the walk are $20 for adults and $10 for students. There is no fee for those ages five and under. Register or make a donation by clicking here.
