Hemophilia Organization Adds New State Chapter

National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) opens up a new state chapter in West Virginia.

According to an article today from The Charleston Gazette, the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF), a national group dedicated to helping people with bleeding disorders like hemophilia, has opened an office in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The National Hemophilia Foundation already has over 50 community-based chapters across the country and that number is growing with the addition on the West Virginia Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation.  There are about 300 people in West Virginia who have bleeding disorders. The state chapter has a partnership with medical centers at Charleston Area Medical Center and at West Virginia University’s Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center in Morgantown.
