Platelet Disorder Support Association (PDSA) celebrating National ITP Awareness Month in September.
What will you be doing to show support for a blood condition known as Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura this month? National organization, the Platelet Disorder Support Association (PDSA), is encouraging those see what they are all about. PDSA’s mission reads that they are “dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and other platelet disorders through education, advocacy, research and support.”
Every year, PDSA has run campaigns to spread information about what ITP is, signs and symptoms to look for, support programs and events as well as a network for those with ITP to connect with others who also have the disorder. You can read more about the work PDSA is doing this month by clicking this link or by following them on Facebook and Twitter. Don’t forget to wear purple throughout the month to show your support for ITP.
